# Bills

OpenEden Bills are reward points you can earn by participating in wider ecosystem DeFi activities. For every $1 you contribute in the various supported activities, you’ll receive 1 Bill—and certain activities come with multipliers so you can earn even more.

## How to earn OpenEden Bills?

You can earn Bills by participating in different DeFi activities across OpenEden’s ecosystem on Ethereum or Base. Whether you choose to hold cUSDO, supply liquidity, stake in vaults, or engage in yield trading on DeFi platforms that support cUSDO, there are plenty of ways to accumulate Bills.

The more you contribute, the more Bills you earn—and certain actions come with multipliers to boost your USDO rewards even further.

### Defi Activities

#### Base Reward

Default rate is 1 ***Bill*** per dollar per day

#### Bills Multiplier

The Multiplier is a factor applied to the base reward that enhances the points earned for participating in certain activities. Each activity has a different multiplier, which increases the total number of points (Bills) accumulated based on the specific action taken.

### Referrals

If you use someone else’s referral code when signing up, you’ll get an extra 5% Bills on all your earnings. If you refer a friend and they use your referral code, you’ll earn 5% of all the Bills they accumulate from defi activities.

E.g. User B uses User A's referral code which has a **5% bills points boost,** assuming *User B* earns 1,000 bills for the day:\

\&#xNAN;*User B* will be rewarded with 1,000 bills + 50 bills = 1,050 bills\
\&#xNAN;*User A* will be credited 50 bills for referring *User B*.
