# Eligibility

An investor seeking to mint or redeem USDO is required to meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the [User Agreement](/usdo/legal/user-agreement.md), which includes: (a) being a non-US resident, (b) making a minimum initial purchase of USD 100,000, and (c) completing the necessary KYC approvals.
